Mesogeios Dialysis Centers Group is the largest private group of renal care service providers with a network of 6 units throughout Greece. Mesogeios Dialysis Center in Pallini opened in May 2008 at an easily accessible state-of-the-art hemodialysis center next to Exit Y8 of the Hymettus Ring.
Mesogeios Dialysis Center offers hemodialysis (HD) and hemodiafiltration (HDF) treatments with safety and quality in a highly-sophisticated environment with the use of state-of-the-art equipment. The unit includes a dialysis room of 1.200 square meters, has a capacity of 160 patients and 27 Fresenius Medical Care 5008S online hemodiafiltration machines, Highflux and lowflux polysulfone and helixone dialysis filters by FME are used, and there is a designated area for treating patients with Hepatitis B. In addition, the Dialysis Unit cooperates with the “White Cross” Athens Medical Center, as well as with affiliate vascular surgeons, for the immediate treatment of vascular access problems.

Mesogeios Dialysis Center in Chalkida implements a Quality Management System in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2008, by the internationally recognized Certification Body TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD), ensuring high quality in provided services and safe treatment. Additionally, the Dialysis Unit follows modern practices for water and waste management principles to reduce the environmental burden caused by the hemodialysis procedure.
The dialysis unit uses an advanced fresh air exchange system in all rooms. The rooms are equipped with individual TVs and internet stations, there is wireless Internet access (wifi), and snacks are provided to the patients during hemodialysis. There is continuous monitoring by a cardiologist and immediate solutions to vascular access problems by affiliated vascular surgeons. Mesogeios Dialysis Centers in cooperation with the vascular department of Athens Medical Centre Lefkos Stavros offer the placement of both temporary and permanent central venous hemodialysis catheters, as well as the thrombectomy and angioplasty of occluded arteriovenus grafts, the restoration of malfunctioning arteriovenus access and the creation of new hemodialysis access. The scientific personnel of the Dialysis Unit is comprised of nephrologists, nurses and a psychotherapist. The Dialysis Unit is affiliated with the National Organization for Healthcare services (EOPYY) as well as all insurance companies that cover the cost of the treatments performed.
