“Physio Apokatastasis” Physiotherapy Practice is located in a renewed place in the center of Pagrati in Athens, Greece, where functionality and comfort are the main characteristics.

We apply physical therapy, manual therapy and rehabilitation methods that have valid scientific evidence and best clinical efficiency.

We treat various diseases and injuries, such as sports injuries, neuromusculoskeletal problems, neurological disorders, cardiorespiratory diseases and painful syndromes.

Ilias has been a qualified physiotherapist since 2002 and holds a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy since 2003 (University of Strathclyde, UK). He was certified as a Midterm Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (OMT) in December 2011 (Kaltenborn-Evjenth) and as a PNF Therapist in October 2012 (IPNFA).

He is a registered member of Panhellenic Physiotherapist’s Association (PPTA) and member of Sports Physiotherapy and Neurologic Physiotherapy Scientific Groups. He is specialized in sports injuries, neuromusculoskeletal problems and neurological diseases, having completed various CPD courses (among others OMT Kaltenborn-Evjenth, Mulligan, PNF, Clinical Pilates).

Finally, he is currently an academic fellow at the Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece (Department of Physiotherapy), having been a lecturer since 2010.

Medical Services: 

Sports Physiotherapy: Rehabilitation after acute sports injuries (eg meniscus tear) or overuse syndromes (eg tendinopathy), either conservatively or pre- or post-surgery (eg anterior cruciate ligament-ACL reconstruction).

Orthopaedic Physiotherapy: Rehabilitation after orthopaedic diseases/injuries (eg ankle sprain, wrist fracture, shoulder dislocation, arthritis, intervertebral disc pathology), either conservatively or pre- or post-surgery (eg after total hip/knee replacement).

Neurologic Physiotherapy: Rehabilitation of various neurological disorders (eg hemiplegia after a stroke, multiple sclerosis-MS, Parkinson's Disease-PD, traumatic brain injury-TBI, spinal cord injury-SCI etc).

Physiotherapy in painful syndromes: Rehabilitation in cervical pain syndromes, low back pain, leg pain, as well as in persistent or chronic pain.

Group therapeutic exercise classes: Monthly therapeutic exercise classes in groups of up to 4 persons, adapted to pathology and symptoms of the participants (1 to 2 sessions/week).

Physiotherapy home visits: Physiotherapy for people with neuromusculoskeletal or neurological problems who cannot move out of their house.
